The Dairyland Rectifier Protector offers significant improvements
in over-voltage protection of rectifiers where lightning-caused
failures are a costly nuisance. The RP is unique in that it
provides both over-voltage and over-current protection to the
rectifier from lightning surge currents attempting to enter
the DC output side of the rectifier. Where traditional arresters
have failed to provide protection for rectifiers, the Dairyland
RP addresses both modes of failure. While the device does not
attempt to address other causes of failure, numerous clients
have indicated that the majority of their failures have resulted
from lightning affecting the rectifier from the DC output side.
User experience has indicated near elimination of rectifier
failures when the Dairyland Rectifier Protector has been applied.
